The Meaning Behind Enso

The name Enso comes from a Japanese word meaning circle. In Zen tradition, it symbolises a moment of stillness, presence and connection, often drawn in one expressive and free flowing brushstroke. It’s imperfect by nature, and that’s part of its meaning; beauty in the incomplete, peace in the unfinished.
Just as the Enso is created in one breath with a few simple strokes, counselling is not about ‘fixing’ you. Through our sessions, I will help you find balance, presence, and confidence within yourself, just like the Enso represents.
For me, Enso represents the heart of therapy; a space to be fully yourself, without needing to be perfect. A place where you can show up just as you are, from feeling messy, stuck, or unsure to looking for ways to develop and gently reconnect with who you are.
